We also specialise in the manufacture and install of wardrobes, both traditional and slide robes and the fit out of bespoke walk-in wardrobes.
With more and more people working from home, a space for your home office has become more and more important. We can help you to design and create an office where you have a dedicated room, or where space is limited, we can help you fit a desk and any amount of storage into an unused hallway/landing/wall space.
Do I need to make an appointment in advance?
Yes. The best thing to do is to make an appointment with Darragh – this way we can ensure you have enough time. Of course, you are also very welcome to visit our showroom during opening hours without an appointment and have a look around, however we cannot guarantee that somebody will be free to discuss your kitchen.
What do I need to bring to receive a quote?
Architects plans or measurements of your existing room. Pictures of the space, if it is an existing room with no alterations to be made.
Will I receive drawings of my kitchen?
3D Computerised drawings of kitchens are provided as a guide. These can be very useful in helping you to visualise your what your kitchen will look like upon completion. As these drawings take a considerable amount of time, planning and preparation, there is a charge for the drawings if you wish to take them with you. This will be discussed with you during your consultation. They can also be very useful for plumber and electrician if you are embarking on a new build or making changes to location of light fittings or sinks/ dishwasher etc.
It should be understood that drawings of the plans are a representation of the kitchen and should not be taken as the actual kitchen itself.
What do I need to organise before my new kitchen is installed?
If there are any plumbing, plastering or electrical works to be carried out, please discuss this with Darragh to ensure that everything is ready when Derg Kitchen’s arrive onsite to fit your new kitchen. If necessary, we may be able to help arrange a tradesperson to carry out these works for you. Please discuss with Darragh.
In relation to heating, we recommend that the heating is on for 2 or 3 weeks before the kitchen is fitted. Insufficient drying before the kitchen is installed will cause problems with units swelling and doors sticking. Derg Kitchen Design Ltd is not responsible for any such damage or loss.
Please ensure all appliances are onsite at the time of fitting.
It is strongly recommended that Kitchens are maintained in accordance with normal maintenance guidelines.
Our payment terms are divided into three simple instalments which are as follows:
1st Instalment: Booking deposit paid on placing order with Derg Kitchens, typically 1/3 of the total cost of the works to be carried out.
2nd Instalment: 1/3 payment received at time of delivery/fitting of goods or as agreed.
3rd Instalment: Final balance due upon completion of works or as agreed. This may include any extras.

Derg Kitchen Design Ltd gives a 10 year structural guarantee on its kitchens. This guarantee covers the structural integrity of the carcass of the kitchen. It does not cover breakages and damage caused in the normal course of usage.
